Assistive technology and software for Deakin students and staff

Deakin University is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible environment for all students and staff.

We offer a number of assistive hardware and software technologies to both students and staff on and off campus. These technologies support the specific needs of people with disability, but are also useful tools for everyone. Our goal in providing this service is that it is as flexible and individualised as possible, with the aim of improving education and employment outcomes for students and staff with disabilities.

To learn more about the software available, see Accessibility software for students and staff

The Library has dedicated assistive technology computers available: http://www.deakin.edu.au/library/about/students-with-a-disability

To access Deakin software at home or off-campus, students can log in to Apps on Demand.
