How do I search my Outlook 2011 directory for staff members only? (Mac)
By default, Outlook is configured to search the entire Global Address List (address book) when looking for an email contact. The Global Address List contains all staff and students currently at Deakin University, a student being distinguished by the use of capital letters.
You can configure Outlook to search for Deakin staff members only, by following the below steps.
- Click on the Home tab. In the menu bar, click Contacts Search.
- In the Contacts Search window, use the drop down menu to change the setting from All Folders to All Staff.
The next time you open the Contacts Search, you will notice that All Staff will be the default search. You can repeat these steps to change it back to the Global Address List (All Folders).
