Connecting to Eduroam

  1. Select Wi-Fi and connect to eduroam.
  2. Enter your ""

If you are having trouble connecting to eduroam by following the steps above please follow the instructions below to connect using Deakin Setup.

  1. Select the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar.

  2. Ensure wi-fi is on.

  3. Select Deakin Setup.
  4. Uncheck the Connect automatically box, select then Connect.

  5. Go to (if it doesn't automatically happen) and select JoinNow.

  6. Download and run the file as prompted.
  7. If prompted by SmartScreen - click Run anyway.
  8. Select Yes when prompted by User Account Control.
  9. Type your Deakin Username and Deakin Password.
  10. Select Next.

  11. Click Done when the configuration process has finished.

Whenever you return to a Deakin campus, your device will automatically connect to the Eduroam wireless network.


Can't connect to Eduroam?

  1. Select the wireless icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen (near the clock) to bring up the network selection menu.
  2. Select Network Settings.

  3. In the Network Settings window, make sure Wireless is selected and then select Manage Wi-Fi Settings.

  4. Select Eduroam, then Forget.

  5. Run through the setup process again.
